Keith has been one of the most in demand jazz trumpeters, musicians, composers, and educators in the Saint Louis region for over two decades. His professional career has taken him all over the globe with performances throughout the United States, Europe, and Northern Africa. As a performer he has performed with notables such as Michael Hampton, Petula Clark, Eddie Levert, Louis Bellson, Steve Smith, Bob Brookmeyer, the Cab Calloway Orchestra, Son Volt, the United States Army Bands, Dr Zhivegas, the Ralph Butler Band, The Smash Band, Sky Bop Fly, Superfro, Rhythm of the Nite, The Dave Dickey Big Band, Dirty Muggs, Willie Akins, and too many more to mention. His compositions span multiple genres and have been performed across the globe. Keith has an extensive discography as a sideman and his playing has been featured on numerous internationally acclaimed recordings to include Son Volt's The Picture (Sony/BMG) and Pavlov's Dog Echo and Boo. In 2010, Keith released his first album as a leader entitled First Cry. The CD featured all original compositions by Keith and has received radio play across the nation as well as Europe. Currently, Keith is preparing to record his second album that will feature another set of fresh and original compositions.
