ROBERTNELSON is an extraordinary artist whose golden voice is a unique blend of standard jazz tones similar to Joe Williams and Johnny Hartman, with 50’s and 60’s Rat Pack vibrato of Dean Martin and melancholy emotion of Johnny Mathis, 60’s and 70’s soulful jazz reminiscent of Sam Cooke, Bill Withers, Lou Rawls and Natalie Cole, as well as more modern and smooth jazz styles of Gregory Porter, Kurt Elling, Will Downing, and Leslie Odom Jr.
